Being Kenetik: Eric Priest

Being Kenetik: Eric Priest

Posted by Katie Spaller on

At 26, Eric Priest is making his mark in and out of the boxing ring. A first-generation Korean American from Kansas City, his journey into the sport was anything but conventional.

Eric found boxing at 9 years old but went pro during one of the most uncertain times in recent history—2020. Three years later, he signed with Golden Boy Promotions, turning a pandemic-born passion into a professional career.

Boxing has given him both clarity and a calling. “In this sport, it’s all on you. You’re accountable for your wins and your losses. I like that pressure—it makes me perform better.”

A Champion’s Mindset

Boxing isn’t just about being physically prepared—it’s about being mentally unshakable. That’s why Eric starts his day with discipline. Cold showers. Early morning workouts. Hard things first. “If I can crank out something hard in the morning, then everything else feels easier,” he explains.

His routine is intentional. He meditates, journals, and sets his mindset before cracking open a Kenetik, fueling up for his first full training session at 11 AM. Before his second session, he reaches for another, ensuring his energy and focus stay steady—no spikes, no crashes, no stimulants.

The solitary nature of boxing—the accountability, the pressure—fuels him. “This sport forces you to show up for yourself. No one else can step in the ring for you.” What started as proving something to himself has evolved into something bigger.

Currently ranked within the top 15 in the world in the middleweight division, he’s committed to fighting two to three more times this year, ensuring every aspect of his life aligns with his mission in the ring: positioning himself for the world championship. “All the habits and things that I have in my personal life,” he says, “work in parallel with my goals in boxing.” From what he eats to who he surrounds himself with, everything is about leveling up.

Intelligent Fuel for an Intelligent Fighter

Eric sees Kenetik as more than an energy drink. To him, it’s “intelligent fuel”—a game-changer in the way athletes think about performance. He sees himself and Kenetik as anomalies, both disrupting their industries and pushing boundaries.

"I'm able to maximize my training sessions [with Kenetik] and not just show up and go through the motions. Truly making the most of my time with mental clarity, purpose, and intention. It gives me an edge on a lot of people by allowing me to show up more prepared."

Kenetik aligns perfectly with Eric’s vision for 2025—it’s clean, high-tech, and built for peak performance.

Recovery is Non-Negotiable

Training is only part of the equation. Eric follows a strict, sugar-free, gluten-free diet, carefully managing his calorie intake to optimize performance. He invests in recovery tools like red light therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunges, chiropractic care, and physical therapy— to keep his body performing at its peak.

And of course, he drinks “a sh*tload of Kenetik.” Unlike traditional recovery drinks, ketones continuously support energy, reduce inflammation, and enhance metabolic health. For Eric, Kenetik isn’t just a pre-workout—it’s an all-day advantage.

Fighting for Legacy

What drives Eric now is different from his early days. “At 16, it was about proving something to myself. Now, it’s about something bigger.”

As a Korean American in boxing, Priest is in rare company. He’s driven to be the fighter he wishes he had to look up to when he was younger. “I want to be someone who would’ve inspired my younger self, someone who’s trailblazing for a whole community.”

He’s not just fighting for personal glory—he’s fighting to open doors for the next generation.

On What it Means to Be Kenetik

Eric Priest isn’t just a boxer—he’s a disruptor, a visionary, a force to be reckoned with. As he climbs the world rankings, his mindset, discipline, and approach to training make him stand out. Just as Kenetik is redefining energy and performance, Eric is redefining what it means to be an elite fighter.

“Being Kenetik is showing up every single day, no matter what. It’s being part of the new wave—the cutting edge. A disruptor, in the best way possible.”

Eric Priest isn’t here to play by the old rules. He’s here to innovate, evolve, and dominate. And just like Kenetik, he’s only getting started.
